LindseyLu is a family run children’s clothing company, based in Colchester, Vermont, near the shores of Lake Champlain on Mallett's Bay, in the valley between the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. In this beautiful setting Lindsey Louchheim, head designer and seamstress, is inspired by the organic forms of the natural world, surrounding her studio.  Educated in fine arts and architectural history at Brown University, Massachusetts College of Art and Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy, Lindsey brings her love for the Art Nouveau period, Asian art and modern architecture to her appliqued motifs. She uses recycled and unusual fabrics to create her unique, bright and playful designs.

Inspired by Lindsey’s active and energetic young chidren, Lulu and Wolfy, LindseyLu clothing is made to be worn and palyed in, and all items are hand or machine washable. The children’s designs are ready to be worn by both boys and girls, and most styles grow with your  child, allowing for the maximum amount of wear time.
